Heesung Catalysts participated in the International Symposium on Chemical Reaction Engineering (ISCRE29 & APCRE11) and the Korean Society of Combustion Spring Conference held in May 2026, where the company introduced its carbon-neutral catalyst solutions and key technologies.
ISCRE29 & APCRE11 is a global academic conference in the field of chemical reaction engineering. This year’s event was held at COEX in Seoul from May 10 to 13 under the theme “Chemical Reaction Engineering toward a Carbon-Neutral Future.” Heesung Catalysts operated its exhibition booth from May 11 to 13, showcasing key catalyst technologies for chemical processes and hydrogen applications, including methanol synthesis catalysts, reforming catalysts, and ammonia cracking catalysts.
During the conference, various technical discussions took place regarding catalyst technologies and commercialization strategies for carbon neutrality and the hydrogen economy. There was also strong interest in the industrial applicability of catalyst technologies and Heesung Catalysts’ scale-up capabilities. Attendees from global research institutes, industries, engineering organizations, and academia showed significant interest in the company’s technologies and application areas.
Heesung Catalysts also operated a booth at the Korean Society of Combustion Spring Conference held from May 13 to 15, where the company introduced environmental catalyst solutions applicable to power generation and combustion industries. The exhibition featured SCR catalysts, hybrid catalysts, oxidation catalysts, and technical posters related to emission control technologies and catalyst applications for industrial processes.
In particular, visitors showed strong interest in technologies addressing environmental regulations related to NOx, greenhouse gases, and ammonia emissions in combustion and power generation sectors. Discussions also focused on catalyst technologies designed for practical industrial operating conditions and real-world applications.
Moving forward, Heesung Catalysts will continue strengthening its catalyst development and commercialization capabilities to provide practical catalyst solutions for carbon neutrality and the energy transition. The company also aims to enhance technology competitiveness for real industrial applications while contributing to the advancement of environmental and energy technologies demanded by customers and industries worldwide.
