Heesung Catalysts Publishes 2026 Sustainability Report

On June 19, Heesung Catalysts published its 2026 Sustainability Report, highlighting the company’s ESG management activities and key achievements throughout 2025.
The report marks the company’s second sustainability report following the inaugural edition released in 2025. It has been prepared to transparently communicate Heesung Catalysts’ sustainability strategy, ESG performance, and future improvement plans across the areas of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) to its stakeholders.
Sustainability Management Framework and Key ESG Initiatives
Guided by its vision of becoming “a leading eco-friendly technology company realizing a carbon-neutral society through catalyst-based technologies,” Heesung Catalysts continues to strengthen its ESG management framework and promote sustainable growth.
The report presents the company’s key ESG priorities identified through stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment. It covers major initiatives across environmental technologies, climate change response, safety management, human rights, ethical management, and sustainable supply chain management.
In particular, the report highlights Heesung Catalysts’ efforts to address environmental challenges through catalyst technologies while strengthening the foundation for carbon neutrality across its operations. It also introduces initiatives to foster a safe workplace, build a fair organizational culture, and enhance transparent corporate governance.
Highlights of 2025 ESG Performance
The 2026 Sustainability Report features the company’s major ESG achievements throughout 2025.
In the environmental area, the report outlines activities including the establishment and implementation of the 2030 greenhouse gas reduction roadmap, participation in K-RE100 to expand renewable energy use, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of major components, and the adoption of environmentally conscious product design processes.
Under the social pillar, the report introduces initiatives to strengthen occupational safety management, establish a Human Rights Charter and human rights management system, and conduct human rights assessments and impact evaluations to protect employees’ safety and rights.
In the governance section, Heesung Catalysts highlights its efforts to strengthen ethical and compliant management through the establishment of a Code of Ethics, ethics pledges and training programs, and the operation of whistleblowing channels.
The report also introduces the company’s external ESG achievements in 2025, including a CDP Climate Change score of B, placement within the top 7% globally in the EcoVadis assessment, a top 1.3% rating in the Hyundai Motor–Kia ESG Supplier Assessment, and a KODATA ESG Level 2 rating.

Heesung Catalysts views the publication of its Sustainability Report not simply as an ESG disclosure, but as an opportunity to evaluate and continuously improve its sustainability management while strengthening communication with stakeholders.
The report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards, and key environmental data has been independently verified to enhance its credibility and reliability.
